What does a Certified Agency Business Development Partner™ do?

Certified Partners build professional relationships, conduct a Business Discovery, and submit qualified opportunities to our team. Our agencies handle consultations, proposals, contracts, project management, and implementation.

Is ABDP a sales organization?

No.

Our program is centered around relationship building and Business Discovery—not traditional sales. Certified Partners focus on understanding business needs, while our agencies provide recommendations and deliver services.

Becoming a Partner

Who can become a Certified Agency Business Development Partner™?

Anyone who enjoys building relationships, communicating with business owners, and helping businesses succeed may apply.

Do I need experience in website design or marketing?

No.

Technical experience is not required. Our agencies provide all technical expertise and project management.

Can I participate part-time?

Yes.

Many Certified Partners participate while maintaining full-time careers, businesses, or other professional commitments.

Is there an application process?

Yes.

All prospective Partners complete an application and participate in the onboarding process before beginning certification.

Training & Certification

Will I receive training?

Yes.

Every approved Partner receives the Agency Business Development Partner™ Official Training & Certification Manual, which serves as the complete training curriculum for the certification program.

Is the certification self-paced?

Yes.

You may complete the training on your own schedule.

Will I receive a certificate?

Yes.

After successfully completing the certification requirements, you’ll receive your official Certified Agency Business Development Partner™ Certificate.

Can I continue using the training manual after certification?

Absolutely.

Your manual is designed to serve as an ongoing professional reference throughout your journey as a Certified Partner.

Business Discovery

What is Business Discovery?

Business Discovery is our structured process for learning about a business’s goals, challenges, and opportunities before recommending digital solutions.

Do I recommend agency services?

No.

Your responsibility is to conduct a Business Discovery and submit accurate information. Our agencies determine the most appropriate solutions.

Do I prepare proposals?

No.

Proposals are created by the agency selected to assist the business.

Do I negotiate pricing?

No.

Pricing, contracts, and project planning are handled by the agency.

Do I manage projects?

No.

Once a project begins, the agency manages all communication, production, and client support. 

Will I receive updates about the projects I submit?

Yes.

We will keep you informed about the project’s progress and provide relevant updates throughout the process.

Commissions

How are commissions earned?

Eligible commissions are paid on approved website design and website development projects after qualifying client payments have been received, in accordance with the Partner Agreement.

Are commissions paid on hosting or maintenance?

No.

Partner commissions apply to approved website design and website development projects as outlined in the Partner Agreement.

When are commissions paid?

Commissions are paid after the agency has received qualifying client payments and all commission requirements have been satisfied.
